Pin Lock karabiner

The ultimate paragliding karabiner forged from titanal (alloy 7075 T6).
Compatible to conventional paraglider karabiners, suitable for all harnesses and paragliders.

Easy and practical lock. Actuated by gravity. Average value of fatigue endurance Fo 425 kg.

Seperated strap chambers prevent shunt loading.

Breaking load 2500 kg by only 80 g weight. That means a weight saving of 100-120 g compared to steel karabiners on the harness.

Safe-In-Lock SIL

The SIL, designed especially for paraglider harnesses, is karabiner and leg-strap buckle combined in one. The SIL simplifies the handling of the harness, because extra leg-strap buckles cease to exist. SIL-harnesses thus are approx. 300-400 g lighter than karabiner harnesses. Incorrect usage is technically excluded. Three safety steps prevent undesired opening even when the leg-strap tongues have been inadequately inserted.

The SIL requires a special harness apparatus and is sewed in the paraglider harness.
Upgrading of karabiner harnesses is only possible at Charly/Seeg. Our harnesses are available as well with SIL as with karabiners. Our recommendation: SIL. For more than 1000 SIL users, karabiners are no option anymore.

Ball-lock pins/Quickpin

Bolts with push button locking for countless uses, especially in glider/aerospace construction and in the reha branch.
With the exception of the aluminium grips all parts are constructed from high strength stainless steel. Three ball bearings instead of the usual two result in twice the pull out strength.
Editions with two ball bearings and/or special lengths on request!

The security cap with inserted steel ring protects the quickpin from dirt and freezing and is available as an accessory.
