This unit can track maximum and average wind speeds along with current readings, and can display wind speed in your choice of knots, meters per second, kilometers per hour, miles per hour, feet per minute, or Beaufort scale. Moving three-second average (WIND SPEED), average since power on (AVG) or maximum three second gust since power on (TL~AX) which is updated each second. Unit will read a maximum of 78 knots, 40 meters per second, 144 kilometers per hour, 89 miles per hour, 7.83 feet per minute, or 12 on the Beaufort. Automatic shut off after 30 minutes. Uses one CR2032 coin-cell battery which lasts 400 hours. Comes with slip on elastic case. Measures 4.6x 1.8x0.7 inches (117x46x 19 m). Shipping Weight: 8 oz. (225g).

Same as but reads in Kilometers Per Hour. Handy wind meter gives both low and high range readings. Sturdy, accurate . . . no complicated mechanism or calculations to bother with. Can be used anywhere, anytime. Simply hold meter at eye level so that back side is toward the wind. For high range readings, cover hole at extreme top with finger. Small white ball in tube indicates wind speed to nearest mph reading.
