Batwing
Kite for racing
Batwing –
legendary kite. It has an
outstanding handling and power.
It is as good as for freeride as
for course-race. Batwing has
perfect flying characteristics
at all tack angles and speed. It
is stable in a gusty wind. Our
first attempt to present this
kite at Wissa2000 lead our kiter
(who, at that moment, was far
from excellence in kiteriding)
to the 3rd place at that
international competition!
However this doesn't mean the
Batwing is for ambitious
sportsmen only. Any rider with
average experience may take
control over this kite and ride
it with rare collapses and great
fun.
Another feature of Batwing is
its capability of 'floating'
even in the weakest wind. A
rider with certain skills in
pumping may still ride the Bat
when most kites are already
unable to produce any power.
When riding in a strong wind the
Batwing gives the explosive but
controllable power which is
again large enough to go faster
than most kites... faster than
the wind.
